CASA Award Winners

The CASA Award is awarded to a person who has demonstrated outstanding service to CASA and/or has made valuable contributions to the field of food, drug, cosmetic, public or environmental health, law administration and/or enforcement.

The first CASA Award was given out in 1958 and celebrates the accomplishments of over fifty dedicated public health officials. The award is presented at the Association’s Annual Educational and Training Seminar.

Local conferences nominate deserving candidates no later than February 1 of each year. Recommended nominees will be considered for the award based upon continuous and outstanding achievements within a ten year period preceding consideration of the nominee.
